As the world's leading producer of bricks and Europe's No. 1 in clay roof tiles, wienerberger continues to expand its position in key markets across Europe. To further enhance the growth of our wienerberger Building Solutions (WBS) division, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic International Category Manager for the Façade category. This role will focus on driving product and solution development across Europe, with a major emphasis on Western Europe and the Nordic regions.

- Category Development: Spearhead the development of products and solutions tailored to specific market segments in Europe, with a major focus on markets in Western Europe and the Nordics.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze current and future trends in façade solutions, identifying innovative opportunities to deliver safe, aesthetic, and cost-efficient installation solutions for customers.
- Sustainability & Technical Insight: Stay ahead of technical and sustainable trends, ensuring that product offerings are aligned with the latest industry standards and future-proof innovations.
- Strategic Planning: Lead the creation and execution of sub-category strategies, providing clear strategic guidance to local product management and sales teams across various markets and segments.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the development of new products, solutions, and accessories, ensuring they align with strategic goals and market needs.
- Market Strategy Optimization: Analyze and optimize go-to-market strategies to maximize value creation for Wienerberger and its stakeholders.
- Business Case Development: Prepare innovative proposals with solid business cases, demonstrating the short and long-term profitability of products and solutions within the category.
- Collaboration & Best Practices: Collaborate closely with local and international product managers, sharing best practices and offering guidance to ensure alignment across categories and markets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with both internal and external key decision-makers, leveraging partnerships with innovation leaders to drive category success.
- Budget Management: Manage and monitor the category’s project budget to ensure efficient resource allocation and cost management.
Jouw profiel
- Educational Background: master’s degree in construction, Architecture, or a related field. Additional business training is a plus.
- Industry Expertise: Proven experience in product management, ideally within an international context. Previous experience in the construction or building materials sector is highly advantageous.
- Personal Attributes: Strong diplomatic and communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead. A strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and results.
- Languages: Fluency in English and French is essential. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across the region to support business activities.
